What is Virtually Boxing?

Virtually Boxing recognises that there are many boxing enthusiasts out there, but only a relatively small proportion of them are either allowed to box competitively or want to box competitively. Virtually Boxing offers an alternative to contact boxing by using innovative virtual reality technology to create an immersive world within which all participants can be boxers. Have a look below to see how you could be 'virtually boxing'.

What can we offer?

Boxing in Schools

We offer a number of school's programmes for children over the age of 13, such as breakfast clubs, after schools clubs and school holiday programmes which allow children to learn the skills of boxing and put them into practice a safe, virtual world.

Evidence suggests that virtual boxing demands the same energy expenditure as running on a treadmill (6mph), rowing, competitive soccer or cycling at high intensity - but it is much more fun.  Why not get fit and lose weight with Virtually Boxing?

Are you new to boxing and want a chance to see what real boxing is like? Are you training for a White Collar or Charity Boxing show and feel like you need more preparation? Virtually Boxing can help you.

Excluded from boxing?

We recognise that due to safety rules, many boxing enthusiasts are unable to compete due to an illness, disability or age. Virtually Boxing can offer you new, fun and competitive opportunities to be a champion.

Preparing for a boxing bout can be stressful and nerve wracking. Research tells us that visualisation can aid performance and reduce performance anxiety.  Virtually Boxing allows you to practice the experience, visualise the task and feel like you have already been there even before you step in the ring.

Improving Boxing Performance

Evidence suggests that sparring in a virtual world can have very similar performance benefits to contact sparring. So if you are preparing or tapering for competition, or if you are injured, you can maintain ring sharpness with Virtually Boxing.
